The recordings of this release (the first in three years) are from a side project of the band, featuring only Nima Moussavi, guitar & synth and Frank Bauer, synth & keyboard. The recordings are from two sessions in December '22 and March '23, slightly shortened and edited, but played and recorded live in the studio without overdubs. The music has not been composed beforehand, they are on-the-spot improvisations, and so not repeatable.
We have made the experience that magic moments do not happen automatically and therefore record almost every session. Sometimes a piece develops from it later, but most of the time countless more or less successful sessions remain in the archive and are never used further. This time we decided to release two of them and thus provide an insight into the creative processes and basics of the band.
The title also refers to the creative process, since the pieces, as they stand, were neither planned before nor changed afterwards.

Die Aufnahmen dieser Veröffentlichung (der ersten seit drei Jahren) stammen von einem Seitenprojekt der Band, es spielen darauf nur Nima Moussavi, Gitarre u. Synth und Frank Bauer, Synth u. Keyboard. Die Aufnahmen stammen von zwei Sessions von Dezember ´22 und März ´23, sind leicht gekürzt und editiert, aber ohne Overdubs live im Studio gespielt und aufgenommen. Die Musik ist nicht vorher komponiert worden, es sind on-the-spot Improvisationen, und so nicht wiederholbar.
Wir haben die Erfahrung gemacht, das magische Momente nicht automatisch passieren und nehmen deshalb fast jede Session auf. Manchmal entwickelt sich später ein Stück daraus, aber meistens bleiben unzählige mehr oder weniger gelungene Sessions im Archiv und werden nie weiter genutzt. Diesmal haben wir uns entschlossen, zwei davon zu veröffentlichen und damit einen Einblick in die kreativen Prozesse und Grundlagen der Band zu ermöglichen.
Auf den Entstehungsprozess bezieht sich auch der Titel, da die Stücke, so wie sie da stehen, weder vorher geplant, noch nachträglich verändert worden sind.
